¿Cómo podemos disfrutar este día? El placer nunca vendrá mientras intentamos ser felices. Hay ciertas condiciones que, si se cumplen, producirán el gozo real.
1. Sé recto con Dios, porque la alegría es sembrada en aquellos que tienen un corazón recto (Salmo 97:11). Es el gozo de Dios el que permanece en nosotros y hace que nuestro gozo sea completo.
2. Olvídate de ti mismo y vive para otros, porque más bienaventurado es dar que recibir (Hechos 20:35).
3. Cuando no puedes regocijarte en los sentimientos, las circunstancias ni las condiciones, regocíjate en el Señor (Filipenses 4:4) y ten por sumo gozo cuando te halles en diversas pruebas (Santiago 1:2).
4. Finalmente, obedece al Señor y se fiel a tu carga, y vez tras vez, su bendito Espíritu susurrará a tu corazón: Bien, buen siervo y fiel… entra en el gozo de tu señor (Mateo 25:21).

How may we enjoy this day? This enjoyment will never come by trying to be happy, yet there are conditions which, if met, will produce real joy.
1. Be right with God, for gladness is sown for the upright in heart (Psalm 97:11). It is His joy that remains in us that makes our joy full.
2. Forget yourself and live for others, for It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).
3. When you cannot rejoice in feelings, circumstances or conditions, rejoice in the Lord (Philippians 4:4), and count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (James 1:2).
4. Finally, obey the Lord and be faithful to your trust, and again and again His blessed Spirit will whisper to your heart, Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord (Matthew 25:21).
