a great weekend un fin de semana fantastico

2:00 a.m. Satuday 7th of January
I was so tired but wide awake. I couldn´t sleep because I was so excited about our first discipleship school class that was to start in the morning. Lord, bless the students and prepare them for great things.

2:00 a.m. El Sábado 7 de Enero
Yo estaba tan cansado pero bien despierto. No podía dormir porque estaba tan emocionado pensando en nuestra primera clase de la escuela de discipulado que iba a comenzar en la mañana. Señor, que bendigas a los estudiantes y que los prepares para cosas grandes.

8:00 a.m. Saturday 7th of January
I realized I had a great problem. I had anticipated 6 or 7 students to arrive. Here it was 8:00 a.m. and we had 15 students all of them very excited and worshipping the Lord together. We would have to set up more tables and chairs. This is going to be fun I thought. Thank you Lord

8:00 a.m. El Sábado 7 de Enero

Reconocí que tenía un problema lindo. Anticipé la llegada de 6 0 7 estudiantes. Eran las 8:00 a.m. y tuvimos a 15 estudiantes, todos muy emocionados y alabando al Señor juntos. Tendriamos que poner mas mesas y sillas. "Va a ser divertido" pensaba yo. Gracias Señor.


1:00 in the afternoon.

Most of the students stayed at the church to eat lunch together. Many of them would be participating in the worship team practice at 2:30 or preparing the puppet show for the afternoon outreach in Villa Maria. It was so great seeing everyone eating together and hearing their laughter. This is why we named the church Koinonia (fellowship). There is nothing quite like the body of Christ when we get together in His love.

La una de la tarde.

La mayoria de los estudiantes se quedaron en la iglesia para almorzar juntos. Muchos se quedaron para poder participar en el ensayo del grupo de alabanza a las 2:30 de la tarde o para preparar el show de títeres que hacen en el alcance en Villa Maria en las tardes los días Sábados.
Fue lindo ver a todos almorzando juntos y escuchar sus risas. Por eso pusimos el nombre Koinonia (compañerismo) a la iglesia. No hay nada que se compara con el cuerpo de Cristo cuando nos reunimos en Su amor.

8:00 p.m.
We were finishing up the ministry in Villa Maria, approximately 1oo children heard a Bible story, saw a puppet show, sang christian songs and colored a picture of a Bible story. Between the time of the children´s ministry and the adult Bible study the mime team did two mimes. After the mime ministry, some members of the worship team led the adults in worship and then I taught from the gospel of John. Now the people of Koinonia were dispersed in the crowd witnessing to the people in small groups. It was great to see the people of the church praying with the people in the park. It was so nice to see Jose and Olga. They came with their Bibles and invited a neighbor. They became christians about 5 weeks ago right there in the park. The other Jose was there too. He became a christian three weeks ago... It´s been a full day of activity and a great day in the Spirit. Thanks Lord. We returned to the church. I took a shower and got ready to go the airport. Some cousins were arriving.

8:00 p.m.

Estabamos terminando el ministerio en Villa Maria, approximately 1oo niños escucharon una historia bíblica, miraron un show de títeres. cantaron canciones cristianas y colorearon una hoja de una historia bíblica. Entre el tiempo del ministerio para los niños y el tiempo de comenzar el ministerio para los adultos el grupo de mimos hizo dos presentaciones. Después del ministerio de mimos algunos miembros del grupo de alabanza dirigieron a los adultos en la alabanza. Yo enseñé del evangelio según San Juan. Ahora la gente de Koinonia estaba ministrando a la gente del parque en grupos pequeños. Fue lindo ver a la gente de la iglesia orando con la gente del parque. Me gustó mucho ver a Jose y Olga. Vinieron con su biblia e invitaron a un vecino. Ellos entragaron sus vidas a Cristo hace 5 semanas en el mismo parque. El otro José estaba allí también. José llegó a ser cristiano hace tres semanas... Ha sido un día repleto de actividad y un gran día en el Espíritu. Gracias Señor. Regresamos a la iglesia. Me bañé y me alisté para ir al aeropuerto. Llegaban unos primos
