La Gran Invitación The Great Invitation

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…” Matthew 28:19

Someone has said that one problem that churches have is, after a few years the great commission, (go and make disciples) gets changed into the great invitation, (come to us). I’ve seen it a lot of times. It’s natural for us to look for our own comfort. It’s natural to want to stay in familiar territory. As far as I know, Matthew 28 is still in the Bible. I want to continue going. I’m praying about this today because last week I heard about the great spiritual need that there is in Urubamba and Andahuaylas. This morning I heard about the great need that there is in some of the small towns in Cajamarca where the people have never heard the gospel yet. There’s a lot to do. We’ve got to be praying to see how God wants to use us today and in the future.

This week the people from the church made almost 500 chocotejas. As you already know, we make and sell chocolates to raise money for our missionary work. The people have done really well as far as making the chocolates. Now we have to sell them. The vision of helping our brothers in our Jerusalem, in our Judea, in our Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the world should always be on our mind.

If there could just be a way to bring them here to the states, it will be a huge blessing to you and us.

Michael,

Thanks for writing. Pray that we will find the right person that has the time available to help us with the paperwork and all the legal aspects to be able to export the chocolates.
