We went to Calgary Chapel Venice Florida yesterday in the morning. I shared on the topic of missions in the service. We met some new people and we had a good time with everyone. It was good to see Pastor Bob, his wife and his daughter Robin in the morning. We’re a little sad that Troy couldn’t make it. Last night we went to spend some time with some friends in Fort Myers. We spent time with Pastor Chris and met his wife Donna. You can find the pictures below.
Another thing is that it’s been a little difficult getting used to the life here in the States. Some things have changed. We went to the market on Saturday night because we had to buy a few things. We were scared when we saw the cashier, we went to her and she told us that we had to scan the products ourselves. We did it and the machine talked to us. It told us that we had to put the products in the plastic bag after scanning them and then it told us to pay buy depositing the money in a certain place. We were so surprised and lost. Obviously everyone looked at us as if we were from Mars. I’ve also noticed something strange. Being in public places here, I’ve heard a lot of people speaking English here. It surprises me all the time when I hear people speaking English in public.

Your encounter in the market reminded me the way the indian from the movie "The end of the spear" felt when he also came to the states as a visitor. Have fun in the country of the High Technology.
