Pray for our friend Mey Wey. She's my children's Chinese teacher. She's getting to be a good friend too. This morning she invited us to go eat a special dessert that she made for their holiday celebrating the full moon. It was delicious but the best part was that Betty was able to share a little more of the good news with her. Being Buddhist, she doesn't understand much about the Christian faith but she's always asking questions. She has a Bible in Chinese and Spanish and says that she reads it sometimes.
Little by little we're getting to know a good number of Chinese people here in Lima. God willing I'm going to take my children to Chinatown here in Lima on Monday so they can practice their chinese and learn to appreciate the Chinese culture a little more. Who know where all this will end?
If we go on Monday, I'll put some pictures in the blog.
