10 Toes 10 Dedos de Pies

I admit the value of the study of the feet of the image in Nebuchadnezzar's vision, and the importance of knowing the kingdoms which make up the ten toes, but I do not see the propriety of allowing such studies to overlay the common-places of practical godliness. If the time spent over obscure theological propositions were given to a mission in the dim alley near the good man's house, more benefit would come to man and more glory to God. I would have you understand all mysteries, brethren, if you could; but do not forget that our chief business here below is to cry, "Behold the Lamb!" By all manner of means read and search till you know all that the Lord has revealed concerning things to come; but first of all see to it that your children are brought to the Savior's feet, and that you are workers together with God in the upbuilding of his church. The dense mass of misery and ignorance and sin which is round about us on every side demands all our powers;

Reconozco el valor que hay en estudiar los pies de la imagen de la visión de Nabocodonosor y lo importante que es este conocimiento de cuales son los reinos que son representados en los diez dedos de pie, pero no lo veo correcto permitir a estudios así reemplazar la vida piadosa en lugares comunes y corrientes. Si el tiempo que gastan hablando de proposiciones teológicas poco claros sería dado a una misión en un callejón oscuro cerca de la casa del hombre piadoso, más beneficioso seria para el hombre, y Dios recibiría más gloria. Me gustaría que entendieran todos los misterios si fuera posible hermanos, pero no se olviden que nuestro negocio mas importante aquí es clamar, “¡Aquí tienen al cordero de Dios!” De todas maneras lean y estudien y busquen hasta que logran entender todo lo que El Señor ha revelado acerca de su venida; pero primero, aseguren que sus hijos están siendo llevados a los pies del Señor. Aseguran también que son obreros juntos con Dios en la edificación de Su iglesia. La oscuridad inmensa, la miseria, ignorancia y pecado que esta alrededor nuestro demanda todos nuestros poderes;
