Así pasamos el Fin de Semana Our Weekend

Esto es lo que pasó este fin de semana en Koinonia.

El viernes iniciamos el curso de teología hablando de la palabra de Dios y porque es tan importante para nuestras vidas estar en la palabra todos los días. Asistieron 18 personas.

El sábado algunas chicas hicieron alfajores para la obra misionera en la mañana. Ahora no solo hacemos chocotejas. Hacemos marcianos (chups) en verrano y alfajores también. Que rico. En la tarde un grupo salió a evangelizar y en la noche hicimos es tiempo de discipulado con el grupo de alabanza. Llegaron Ken y Mary de Orlando a las 11:30 p.m. Van a pasar unas tres semanas aquí en El Perú haciendo carpintería para la iglesia. Si tu quieres aprender un poco acerca de carpintería llámame. También podrían practicar su inglés con ellos porque Ken y Mary no hablan castellano.

Pasamos un día hermoso ayer en la iglesia. Reconocimos a Jimmy Palomino como anciano y almorzamos juntos como iglesia. La mayoría estaban allí. Un buen grupo de personas se quedaron en el edificio todo el día. Terminamos el día con el estudio bíblico en la noche. La alabanza estuvo buena y la palabra de Dios, bien rica.



This is what happened this weekend in Koinonia.

We started our theology course on Friday talking about the word of God and why it’s so important for us to be in the word everyday. 18 people attended.

Some of the girls from the church made alfajores to raise support for the missionary work on Saturday morning. We don’t just make chocolates anymore. Now the girls are making alfajores, and we make marcianos (kool pops made of fruit) in the summertime. A group went out to evangelize in the afternoon and then we had our worship team discipleship time in the evening. Ken and Mary arrived from Orlando at around 11:30 p.m. They’ll be here in Peru for about three weeks doing carpentry work. If you would like to learn some carpentry skills or practice your English this could be a great opportunity because Ken and Mary don’t speak Spanish. Just let us know if you’re interested.

We had a great time with the church yesterday. We recognized Jimmy Palomino as an elder in the church and we all ate lunch together. Almost the whole church was there. A good group stayed at church all day and we finished the day with our evening Bible study and a great praise time. The praise time was great and the word of God was precious.
