Cristo como Amigo Christ as a Friend

Puedes consolarte en gran manera por el hecho que tienes a un amigo en Cristo Jesús. Es inmutable, invariable. La constancia es vista correctamente como una calidad indispensable y deseada en un amigo. Que no sea inconstante, porque si fuera así no podríamos depender de él como un amigo seguro y estable. ¡Cuan excelente su amistad (La de Jesús) es! Puedes aprenderla estudiando su manera de tratar a los discípulos en la tierra. Él, los trataba como un padre tierno hace con sus hijos, humildemente enseñándoles, conversando con ellos en una manera amigable. “You may greatly comfort yourself that you have an unchangeable friend in Christ Jesus. Constancy is justly looked upon as a most necessary and most desirable qualification in a friend. That he be not fickle, and so that his friendship cannot be depended on, as that of a steady sure friend.
