Los Terremotos. The Earthquakes

Vamos a llevar víveres, frazadas y ropa. Mas tarde pondré más información y unas fotos si Dios permite. Oren por la gente que ha sida afectada. Gracias.

Well you already know that we've had some interesting moments due to the 2 earthquakes last night. Praise the Lord everyone is okay. There is a group from Florida that was in Cañete last night when everything happened. They got to Lima okay although they weren't able to get everything out of Pastor Jaime's house. It's very unstable. Pastor Jaime, myself and others will be going to see the damage done to the houses of the people in the church and to evaluate what we can do to help. We'll be bringing food, blankets and clothing. God willing, I'll put more information and some pictures here later. Pray the people that have been affected. Thanks

Estimados(as)...

Pastor Brian and Betty,

Thank you for the good news, I praise God you are all right. I was living in Los Angeles for many years and experienced a 5.9 earthquake under my house (I was right at the epicenter) that was really scary and dangerous, so I can barely imagine a 7.9, especially in Canete so close to the epicenter. We are praying, especially for the church in Canete but also for you all in and around Lima.

Pastor Brian,
I praise the Lord for your protection in the quake and aftershocks, and pray that Pastor Jaime, Silvia, the Canete church and the people there are comforted during this trial. Please let us know what can be done to help, even from afar. We are praying for you all.
In Christ,

I was so glad to read that you all in Lima and in San Vincente are safe!! Praise God. I am continuing to pray for you to be kept safe and be a shining light showing mercy and care to others in this time. As well, RiverCross church of Gainesville and Calvary Chapel Forest Grove (Oregon) and before the Throne in prayer for you!

As Pastor Jaime quoted in his August 5 devotion: "Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." 2 Timothy 2:19.

We're praying for God's peace and strength for you as you minister. Praise Him, He's building a house that will never fall. We've been telling tons of people back in NC about the websites. So glad to hear Jaime and Silvia are OK. We at CC Miami Beach love and miss you all!

Brian, Jaime and families - Our prayers and thoughts were with you from the first news of the situation. We hope to hear more specifics of the people in Canete and how they fared, and we hope to respond specifically as you make needs known to us. Love always in Christ, La familia Arce at Calvary Miami Beach (Debbie, Dante, Jeremias, Liani and Lalo)

Pastor Brian Betty,

How we pray for you, your family and your ministry. We pray God would increase His favor, show grace to many and speak to your hearts specifically on how we can come along side you at this time.

Thanking God for your wellbeing.

Please post an update.

Hi Brian, et al.

We have been glad to hear that everyone was OK after the quakes. Our prayers are with you and I feel that, to a person, we wish we could be there to help. It's also good to hear of the ministry opportunities. It's unfortunate part of human nature that, sometimes, only crises can draw us to God. Our prayers are with you all.

In His Love,
Jim Graham
