La Fiesta Para Los Niños. The Children´s Party

Marco and Rodrigo act in a drama that explains the parable of the prodigal son.

Last night the children between 8-13 years of age did a party for the younger children of the church. They did a clown show with music, etc. They did it with the help of some adults this time. Next time, with the Lord´s help, they will do the worship and praise as well. Anyway, it was a good start. We´re praying a lot for the children so that they will capture the vision to minister. I think they´re getting the idea. In the future we want to send them on short missions trips to minister to other children.

My son Marco told me this afternoon that everyone in his Sunday school class was crying this morning as their teacher Americo shared the need to preach the gospel to the people that are dying without knowing Christ. We must teach our children to use the word of God as the sword of the Spirit and preach the gospel, ministering below the unction of the Holy Spirit.

¡Que Entren Los Payasitos! Send in the Little Clowns!

The little clowns were Marco, Rodrigo, Anna and Ariana. They did a show based on the story of the prodigal son for the children. It was a lot of fun and Biblical too.

Ariana explained everything and helped to keep the children attentive all the time. Thanks for working so hard to help the party be a total success Ariana. You´ve got a future.

Bien hecho Rodrigo.

Rodrigo was the prodigal son in the drama and in the end needed a bath because he smelled bad. But seriously, you did a good job man. We can´t wait to see you acting again. Keep it up Rodrigo.

Marco was the father in the story of the prodigal soon and he played his part well. Thanks for doing a good job Marco.

It´s always good to have the grandmothers with the grandchildren. Thanks Grandma. It´s always good to see you.

Algunos Papás Llegaron a La Fiesta. Some Fathers Came to the Party

Si, es cierto que algunos papás llegaron. Tienen buen alfato. ¡Creo que llegaron buscando algo de comer!

Yes, it´s true that some fathers made it to the party as well. They have a good sense of smell and arrived looking for something to eat!

Las Mamás. The Mothers.

The mothers enjoyed the party too. It was good to be able to talk and allow the older children minister to the younger ones. (Yes, the mothers did help too.)

Cuando Hay Koinonia, Hay Comida. When there´s Koinonia, There´s Food.

The children ate small hamburgers with french fries and had a juice to drink. The hamburgers were just the right size for the children. Here are a few photos of some of the girls that helped prepare everything.
